Emperador Cigar Chest

In collaboration and developed exclusively for IMPERIALI Geneva, this cigar chest named EMPERADOR, is a product of pure Swiss know-how. More than 17,000 hours of development have gone into the conception of the case, which is made up of 3,577 pieces including 71 printing circuit boards and 21 motors.
Behind the Emperador is IMPERIALI Genève, a young company that aims to reinvent already-existing objects by going beyond the limits of human reason. Innovative, sublime and surprising, such is their leitmotiv. The Emperador invites an array of superlatives; it is a project tinted with folly. More than a luxury piece, it is an experience for our five senses. A moment outside of time designed for the privileged few, as only twelve numbered pieces will be created each year.
The chest overflows with innovation, such as the regulator of temperature and humidity that extracts the water from the ambient air, the entirely automated cigar cutter, and the ashtray with a motorized diaphragm.
The founders of IMPERIALI Geneva and the engineers at FiveCo have overcome all the different challenges regarding the thermodynamics of the regulator, the complex mechanics of the different movements, the choice of materials to mostly optimize insulation and the total weight, the compact integration of the embedded electronics and especially conserving the harmony and esthetic values of this exceptional piece.
This project remains for all the contributors the most beautiful illustration of the alliance between tradition and innovation.
